Great location. We were there during the Air Show. Had a fab room 114 with enormous balcony. Enormous room and bathroom. The bathroom was wonderful. All new and clean. The last night we were in 110 on fourth floor a corner balcony. Only one window would open. Very comfortable. The breakfast wasn’t bad. But please cook sausages more as they’re anaemic. Everything else was good. Great scrambled eggs and fried eggs. Great coffees and juices. We enjoyed the breakfast but no black pudding 🥲… Loved the hotel leaving candy rock and pens out for the guests during the air show.. Had sandwiches n fries which were delicious. Shame there’s no housekeeping. We were in a superior room and expected water. We didn’t get any but on asking at reception they gave us two bottles but only once. Would have been a nice touch. We were paying quite a lot being during the air show. It’s very difficult phoning reception from home. No one bothers to answer. I was told I could book the car park. Then I was told by email I couldn’t. I was worried as I’m disabled. They said we could park outside but they didn’t tell us the roads would be closed due to air show. We worried all the way but when we arrived I had a space booked in car park at £8 a day which was great. Don’t think the dinner was worth the money. There are tons of restaurants around that are much better and more friendly. The reception staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. I was very impressed.

I picked a sea view room and we were extremely lucky that the room we got was on the corner with window views to the side and to the sea front meaning we had an excellent view of the pier and bandstand. We also had a balcony which I wasn't expecting which was so lovely to sit out on and enjoy the views and sea and air and watch the world go by. The room was massive and lots of space . We also had a fridge which again wasn't expecting which was very handy. Breakfast was what you would expect for a buffet style help your self. Was nothing you could fault all very pleasant freshly topped up with food and was all very tasty.

Hotel is seafront..but a back room not sea view price was lower...have stayed before so knew what to expect...very good for price...would defo stay again...very important for us is the choice to cancel literally on day of arrival before 2pm.. and can pay in arrival.. that's main reason for keep going back..and cost compared to other hotels....there's no comparison this time.....another date another could be comparable...but not often.. Nice big room this time...rooms can be so different size wise....lovely hot plentiful water for sink/shower....good supply of toiletries and toilet paper

Room was right opposite the bandstand with a view of the pier - stunning. The room was large and had a balcony, which was more than expected. The staff were very professional, friendly and efficient. There was a nice ambience in the hotel. Plenty storage space for clothes and luggage. The bathroom was clean and a decent size. There were comfortable chairs and a table in the room as well as bedside tables.

Joan

The location is perfect and we were treated to a concert from the Bandstand - Tom Jones tribute act and we could watch from our room. Staff really lovely and sorted out a problem with the room. Second room offered was perfect . Great view and you can hear the waves.
