Hotel is seafront..but a back room not sea view price was lower...have stayed before so knew what to expect...very good for price...would defo stay again...very important for us is the choice to cancel literally on day of arrival before 2pm.. and can pay in arrival.. that's main reason for keep going back..and cost compared to other hotels....there's no comparison this time.....another date another could be comparable...but not often.. Nice big room this time...rooms can be so different size wise....lovely hot plentiful water for sink/shower....good supply of toiletries and toilet paper

Great location and cheap. Hotel shows a lot of wear and tear and needs major investment, but a lovely old building and was half the price of other hotels. Far exceeded expectations from reviews. We were able to take our dog and can’t fault the shower or the beds which were comfortable. Didn’t eat there so unable to comment. Tv, hairdryer, kettle all worked and we were upgraded for free to a sea view room. £10 additional charge for bringing our dog. Perfect hotel to rest your head at a cheap price. Staff were polite.

We were very impressed with the hotel and the very competitively priced accommodation. Our double room was spacious with a king size bed - very clean and warm with plenty of storage & sitting space, (plus TV, tea & coffee making facilities etc.) The en-suite was also clean & spacious with shower/bath, complementary toiletries, and hot water always available (but could do with a little redecorating)

We had driven for almost 8hrs before reaching there around 7pm and boy the hotel building, the location, the views and the reception staff just made all that fatigue vanish. The staff truly deserve a 5star. Theres a parking chargeable at £8/night which put me at ease as parking on the side roads isnt for everyone.

The location is perfect and we were treated to a concert from the Bandstand - Tom Jones tribute act and we could watch from our room. Staff really lovely and sorted out a problem with the room. Second room offered was perfect . Great view and you can hear the waves.
